An interesting evening! When the group arrived at Victoria Park we discovered that the speed skaters not only dominated the dressing room, they also had rented the ice for the entire evening! After watching them fly by us in style for about 15 minutes the group decided to head to Hawrelak, a short jaunt down the road, for some skating of our own. Thanks to everyone for being so flexible and for making the event fun although we encountered some minor set-backs! I look forward to actually skating Victoria Park in the near future with you all!
