Hi Everyone, We had a great weekend for hiking. It didn't seem like the end of November. Lots of events over the weekend. One group found a carcass of an unknown animal. I'm sure they will check their pictures to identify it, while the other group saw what was left from hunters gutting an anmal in the parking lot of a trail. Needless to say they didn't stick around to find out what animals wanted to eat it. On the Sunday the same group came across, what looked like paw prints of a family of cougars or Bobcats in the high mountains of Kootenay Plains area. They must stay close to the herd of Elk they saw early in their hike. Take care and happy hiking in the future. John
