Write Up:
After meeting at the top of the convention centre we made our descent down to the realm of the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival. An enchanted atmosphere of various wine and food vendors was our playground for almost three hours. Later in the evening some of us enjoyed a cheese seminar courtesy of the Dairy Producers of Canada. Hard to believe that there are over 500 types of cheeses produced in Canada. Thankfully none of us are admittedly lactose intolerant because this event would have certainly ended in a severe episode. Great way to celebrate the end of a good hiking season around Edmonton and the Rockies :) Now looking forward to the ski season. See you all soon at future events.
