Write Up:
We rose and shone for an early departure, and on this crisp December morning drove down to the David Thompson Country to hike up to Allstones Lake. There was about 10-20 cm of snow on the trail, which made it rather slick, but we all made it up safely. After having a bite to eat beside frozen Allstones Lake, we headed back down the way we came.
