It was a lovely fall day - perfect for a walk! We hiked approximately 10 km, working our way from the Stoney Creek Centre to near the biathlon range and back. Unlike my last visit to the park, we couldn't actually check out the biathlon range because there were people doing skeet shooting at the gun range. Also, checking out the ski jump that used to be a prominent feature in the park is no longer an option, as it was torn down over the summer. This hike was a good opportunity to scope out the area for xc skiing events in the winter, and I'm sure some of us will be back! Thanks all for coming! - Ryan
