Write Up:
The most beautiful blanket of snow covered the trails on Sulphur Skyline. The trip took around 5 hours with majority of the time spent doing the ascent. Lunch was enjoyed in the shelter of the tree line. The exposed section of the summit was a little tricky since the trail was hidden from view, but we managed to follow some reasonably established switchback footprints to the top by side stepping up. Micro spikes were a must on this section. This area closes for the winter season each fall. It was really a one of a kind experience to do this trip in winter like conditions. :) - Beata (Betty)
