Write Up:
On a very windy spring day, we our group headed down to Camrose to check out a trail system that EOC groups have not previously hiked. We hiked about 12 km in total, working our way from the Stoney Creek Centre at the north end of the park down to the Biathlon Range at the south end of the trail system. The trails have a range of difficulty, in terms of their degree of hilliness (and at some points the group partly split up, as people chose the degree of difficulty that suited their preferences. Ultimately, the trails run parallel to each other and frequently intersect, so the group easily reconverged.) After the hike, most of the group visited a local watering hole in Camrose, before the 1 hr drive back to Edmonton. - Ryan
