Write Up:
The wind was chilly but we kicked off BBQ season at Coronation park for Earth Hour! Hotdogs and wienies were enjoyed by all as we huddled by the BBQ and firepit. Many people also brought pot luck items such as pasta salads, greens, cheese-cupcakes, cream puffs and more! After dinner, we headed over to the observatory where volunteers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada taught us all about the stars under an overcast sky. We wait a bit for it to clear but alas, we will have to come back another time for the show. Thank you all for coming out to BBQ in the early spring and leaving your lights out for Earth Hour!
