Write Up:
We each climbed the stairs 4 times with a pack and up to 10 times without a pack. We counted 241-242 stairs. Great effort for the first time this season for most of us! Donna sent in her recipe for Surprise Spuds breakfast: 1/2 package of instant mashed potatoes (Betty Crocker Butter and herb) dried scrambled eggs, about 1/4 cup (MEC) bacon bits 1/4 cup dried minced onion 1 Tbsp dried mushrooms (chinese section of Superstore) dried powdered cheddar cheese if you can find it 2 Tbsp This is a large breakfast for one, for two just use the whole pack of potatoes and double up other things as required. Its quite flexible, you can add anything that would make an omelette taste good. The powder weighs nearly nothing, you just boil up water, about 1.5 - 2 cups, and stir in until you get smooth paste. It looks rather like orange wallpaper paste, but tastes surprisingly good, and I don't get hungry like I do with Oatmeal.
