Write Up:
We pulled lots of thistle (and some of our group also lopped off tree branches) at the Clifford E Lee Nature Sanctuary, along with a team from the Nature Conservancy of Canada and a number of other volunteers. After a morning of thistle pulling, we were treated to a huge lunch and had a chance to walk around the Clifford E Lee Nature Sanctuary. Later, we were given a sneak peek at the future Bunchberry Meadows Conservation Area, which is a nearby property that the Nature Conservancy aims to develop (for more info see www.conservebunchberry.ca).
