The evening was a great adventure. The group of us were clearly novices when it came to dancing the "West Coast Swing", but everyone seemed up for the challenge. The two instructors did a fantastic job in helping us learn the varies parts of the dance. I was very thankful to my lesson partner who even made me look like I've been country dancing more then just one time. The drinks at the saloon were so low you felt guilty for ordering a beverage for fear the place would go out of business. Mae (the very experienced country dancer) dropped by for a few minutes to lend us her morale support. There was a bit of uneven ratio of males to females at first, but some local Cowboys came to the rescue. In the end everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
