No shortage of sun or blood suckers! It was a good day. For me it was a mix of whether I liked the wind to cool off and hate the wind because it was harder to stay straight. Finding a lunch spot proved to be an exercise in digging through the weeds to get to solid dry land. The lake was not attempted by one person in the group. Everyone opted for not swimming in the lake due to the multitude of reasons for staying dry. Warnings of glass in the water, the blood suckers, (some were quite large) the weeds, etc. Potentially a great lake to explore in the fall. Happy paddling! Thanks for making it a great day everyone.
