We had 9 participants as we left the city Friday night, and drove towards the snow!! After gathering at the Entrance Ranch, we met each other, and shared munchies in front of the fire. Saturday morning was beautiful as we drove to Rock Lake in the Willmore Wilderness area, prepared to hike up to the abandoned look out at Rock Lake viewpoint. We missed the trail though, and instead wandered up the valley about 8 km, before turning back. We investigated the campsite in the Provincial Park, and all agreed we will be back to stay and further investigate the hikes and trails of the area. It's beautiful!! Sunday we hiked a few of the trails at the Nordic Center, and we think the EOC will return when the skiing season really kicks in!! A lovely weekend with fellow EOCers!!
