Write Up:
Even though our organizer had to bow out with a sudden case of food poisining, 9 EOC members met with Dave Storey from the City of Edmonton for a wonderful evening learning the basics of cross country skiing. From all reports, great fun was had by all as some members practiced a brand new skill on the training grid while others perfected their form on the hills. Now that we've got the basics, there was some talk of another beginner plus event to get in a bit more trail time, so watch your e-mail for more fun XC events like this one. -Kathryn
