We were fortunate to have a beautiful evening for our hike, as we shared the River Valley with what seemed like the entire cycling community of Edmonton! We also enjoyed watching some Dragon Boat teams training in the river (or maybe they enjoyed watching the EOC hikers). Most of the hike was on paved trails, although we managed to check out some unpaved ones too. We even saw a guitarist strumming away in a large concrete pipe by the water treatment works, I was tempted to tell him to "pipe down" but that would have been too awful a joke! After around 2.5 hours hiking, a few of us headed to the Hilltop pub for a light refreshment and some nutritious snacks. Many thanks to everyone for attending, and I hope you all enjoyed the hike.
