Write Up:
It was a warm evening and it seemed like all of Edmonton was out and about on the trails! Fantastic! 24 of us left the Royal glenora overflow lot, headed across the blue foot bridge and into the dirt trails on the south side of the river. we met a couple icy patches surprisingly, and hiked to Emily Murphy, then to Hawrelak park. After a quick bathroom break, we continued across the footbridge and to the long hill to get to the residential area at the top of the hill toward the 142 st bridge. We returned along the north side of the river back to the meeting point. Total 11.8 km, time, we left promptly at 6:15 and returned to the parking lot between 8:30 and 8:45.
