Summary: Journey to Mecca told the story of a young 21 year old lawyer from Morroco, Ibn Battuta, who had traveled from Morocco to Mecca then later to China - this was about 700 years ago. Ibn traveled at least 4,000 km over desert by himself, dealing with bandits, wars, and the Sahara on the way.
