Write Up:
Thanks for coming out to the hike! We started out with still a bit of daylight lighting up the river valley and warm temperatures of just below 0. At a brisk pace we headed around the Hawrelak park loop, crossed the foot bridge and through the wider trail at Laurier Park, returning along the river valley as darkness fell. A few headlamps lit out way as we returned to the Emily Murphy meeting point. It was a good 8.4 km in 1 hr 45 min. A nice evening! Thanks again and see you on the trails! Joanne
