That was nice.
Ten people turned out for a Saturday morning walk from Terwilliger down to the Anthony Henday bridge and back, It was a bit chilly when we started out, but within a few minutes everybody started warming up and we had to stop a few times to strip off extra layers.
The trails were icy, but with no fresh snow snowshoes weren't needed. In fact, it really wasn't much more difficult that a regular hike on an ungroomed trail during the summer. With a brief stop at the bridge, the hike took, in total, about two and a half hours.
Nice
weather and good company.
