Itinerary:

Spend a few hours of your Sunday afternoon canoeing from Tewilliger Park to Emily Murphy Park in a voyageur canoe. We will meet at Emily Murphy Park for 1:00 pm and leave at 1:15 pm on a bus to take us to Tewilliger Park. Once at the park the City staff will go through the 'particulars', will load the canoes into the river and be on our way. Depending on water levels this will likely be a 2-3 hour paddle. Once we are back at Emily Murphy Park we can set up for our BBQ. The BBQ will be pot luck so bring something to share and what you want to BBQ.

Sign up on the wait list and once you have paid we will move you onto the list. We need a minimum of 25 people to sign up and pay by the cut-off date in order for this event to go ahead, and can take up to 36 people on this trip. All ages are welcome! Please let Ryan know by e-mail (ryaninetown@gmail.com) if you intend to bring a guest/child, so that they can be added to the event.

The event will go on rain/shine so be prepared!

The entrance to Emily Murphy Park is located along Saskatchewan Drive, just east of Groat Rd. We will meet by the boat launch (next to Groat Rd. bridge)

Notes:

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the EOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where EOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in EOC events.
