Itinerary:
Ever wonder who had the fastest stove in the west? Bring your back-packing or camping stove and lets find out. If you are stove shopping, this is a good time to compare
We will meet in the parking lot at the Fox Drive Stairs 6:00 p.m. for registration and leave at 6:15 p.m. for a short hike over the White mud pathways, but NOT that usual boring route. Let's take a game trail or two and find a little elevation gain to warm up the blood.

THEN...Let the games begin Bring your stove and two litres of water to boil

There will be two competitions..
1. A trot and hot- the stove, water and fuel will be in your backpack. You will start at the base of the stairs, trot to the picnics tables. Unpack your stove pots and water and bring one litre of water to a boil in the least amount of time.
2. A straight-heat 'em up- Stove is unlit but ready. Light and bring a fresh cool liter of water to a boil.
Obviously your pot will have to hold a full litre of water and you are responsibe for bringing your own separate litre bottles of water.
If you are not competing, OR even if you are, bring some tea or hot chocolate for a sit down and hash over the competitions while enjoying a nice cuppa.
May the best stove win Next week-- Tastiest one pot meal competition -bring your spoons for samples and tarp tricks ( who knows it could be raining)bring your best tarp trick.
