Itinerary:
Total Distance: 60km including a stop in Pigeon Lake Provincial Park.

NOTE that there may be some gravel road sections on the trip, and there will definitely be some packed dirt road (good condition).

Park somewhere along the street or in a public parking lot in Mulhurst Bay and meet in the parking lot of Joe's which faces the lake on the main road through town (Lake Dr).

From Joe's, head north along the shore. Lake Dr curves and becomes Range Road 10, which will take you up to Highway 616. Head east (left on 616). Shortly after you pass the Tempo station on the right-hand side at RR 11, the highway curves around to the right (north). Do not follow it - stay straight and take the road (ignore the "No Exit" sign) into Itaska Beach. Keep following the shoreline (you will have to go through a couple of barriers that have person/bike-size openings to go through). The road is Twp Rd 474, then "Lakeshore Dr", then "Lakeshore Rd". Shortly after you pass through Mission Beach, "Lakeshore Rd" curves to the right - take that instead of "Lake Rd" which follows the shoreline for a short time more (but then just loops back up). "Lakeshore Rd" becomes Twp Rd 474 again and then intersects with Hwy 771.

Turn south (left) onto Hwy 771 and ignore any roads that look like they'll take you closer to the shore for the time being. You will come to an intersection where 771 changes direction - turn left (east) to stay on 771 towards the Pigeon Lake Provincial Park. Another intersection ahead where Hwy 771 crosses Twp Rd 470 - turn left (east) there toward Pigeon Lake Provincial Park as Hwy 771 veers south. If we've made plans to stop in the Provincial Park for a lunch break, head in to our chosen location (I'm not overly familiar with the park... I know it dead-ends near the shore, which is probably a nice spot).

Beyond the Provincial Park, continue east on Twp Rd 470 which then curves right and is called "Lakeview Dr.". We will take "Lakeview Dr." through Poplar Bay and Grandview. Past Grandview, take the corner toward Crystal Springs (instead of climbing the big hill). After Crystal Springs, the road veers south and becomes Range Rd 11. Do not take the turn toward Norris Beach - believe this particular "No Exit" sign. Climb the gravel hill which will take you to Hwy 13.

Turn east (left) on Hwy 13 and take it only as far as the intersection with Hwy 13A to Ma-Me-O Beach. Turn left (north) toward Ma-Me-O Beach. We can detour into town and ride down 1st Ave for a nicer lakeshore experience rather than just blowing through town on the highway. We may want to stop for another rest/snack at Ma-Me-O Beach.

After Ma-Me-O Beach, return to the highway (Hwy 13A). Turn left (northeast) on Hwy 13A and take it to Hwy 780. There is no lakeshore option at Ma-Me-O Beach... believe me, I know... it's gravel, gravel, and more gravel. Anyway, take Hwy 13A to Hwy 780 and go north (left) on Hwy 780. At Twp Rd 470, go left for a short distance (this may be gravel), then turn right (north) again onto Hwy 780. Hwy 780 will take you to Hwy 616. Head west (left) on 616. When the highway turns north, remember to go straight into Mulhurst Bay to find your car and Joe's Pub.

Note that "Slow Pace" does not mean "Not Challenging". Please ensure you can do the posted distance at the intended speed before signing up.

Follow that for about 11.5km, and when the highway veers north, head straight instead into Mulhurst Bay. The road will take you toward the lake and then veer right - follow it and watch for Joe's on the right-hand-side.
