Itinerary:
Feb. should bring some great snow conditions for snowshoeing.If you don't have snowshoes, you can rent them at MEC 780-488-6614 or Totem Outdoor outfitters Ltd. 780-432-1223.We will meet at 6:15 pm to register and put our snowshoes on. At 6:30 pm we will leave to go for a walk in the snow. We can explore the trails in the park area or just practice in the field to get use to the snowshoes. Bring a flash light or Headlamp to see in the dark.

Please allow yourself enough time to find the park.

Required Items to Bring:
Wear appropriate clothing (toques, gloves, etc.)
Snacks if you feel you might need it.
Water
Flash light or a headlamp to see in the dark.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Poles if you need to have some balance on hills.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Whitemud Drive East or West (depending on which direction your coming from) Turn South onto 119 st. Then turn west (first right off 119 St).Rainbow Valley Rd. has a sign labeled Whitemud Park. Take this road to the first parking lot on your left side of the road. This is the start of the event. If you went under the bridge to the Rainbow Valley ski hill, you went too far. I drive a burgundy Chevy 4X4 and you can look on the volunteers section for my picture. Just add a moustache and gotee beard to it.
