Itinerary:

Brisk Walk around the Lake and new trail explorer in nearby Griesbach Park *NOTE: We start walking clock-wise around the lake at 6 PM. Also, dogs must be on leash.

We will meet at the Crown and Anchor Pub and Grill parking lot, walk around the lake a couple times to get in some good weekday night exercise, and work up an appetite for a few appetizers at the pub for those who wish to join.

Although largely artificial, Lake Beaumaris is the largest lake within the city limits of Edmonton. The trail around the lake offers great paved path for year round walking with lighting all the way around the lake. For a challenge we will take a detour and hike up Griesbach Hill in Griesbach Park for our scenic view of North Edmonton and Downtown in the distance.
