POOR AIR QUALITY: Mother's Day Toddler hike (5/11/2024)

Itinerary:

This event is for infants/toddlers/preschoolers/children and their caregivers only (grandparents are welcome). The pace will be a preschooler/toddler pace. It will be the responsibility of the caregiver to ensure we stick together as a group. This hike is stroller and babywear friendly.

Please note: for adults only please sign up for other adult only events.

We will meet at 9:45 AM to check in, followed by introductions and expectations and leave at 10:00 AM. The route will be an out and back trail that follows along the main gravel path, for a total round trip of about 2 kms. It takes approx 15 - 30 minutes to walk to the snack/lunch spot destination. There will be stops planned at various places along the route, including the bridges and bird feeding area. Shortly after bridge #250 we will stop for a snack/lunch break and some free play time on the logs and fort before heading back to the parking lot at 1130am.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
Rainbow Valley Road has a sign labeled Whitemud Park. Take this road to the first parking lot before you go under the bridge. This is the start of the event. If you find yourself at Snow Valley Ski Hill you have gone too far on Rainbow Valley Road.
