Its been a year already and memories have slightly faded so it's time again for “Oktoberfest 2008” social, come join Edmonton’s largest party if you are brave enough to don your lederhosen and brush up on your polka steps. The event will be at the Shaw Conference Center and we will meet at the south east corner of the lower level by the windows overlooking the river at 6:15. If you choose to come later I will have an EOC sign made up for the table so you can find us. There will be a choice of three different meals (German themed) and dessert. There will also be a live German band with a mix of DJ music. At midnight Canadian rocker Kim Mitchell will turn on those patio lanterns of his and rock-in the night.

Tickets (30$ + GST) on sale September 19th at the Shaw Conference Centre or charge-by-phone at (780) 421-9797. Get them sooner then later because the event sells out every year!

The shaw Conference Centre is located on Jasper Ave in between 97St and 99St.
Parking is available in various parkades in the area at a cost. LRT stops are nearby.
