Itinerary:
From the Edmonton Overlanders Orienteeing Club:
Orienteering involves using a special detailed map to choose and follow the best route from one control (checkpoint) to the next. 'Best' route depends on YOU; it could be the shortest, or flattest, or smoothest or driest, or least prickly or the most certain to find the control easily. It all depends on skill level and physical ability and personal preference.

The Edmonton Overlanders Orienteeing Club has been around since 1979! They put on weekly events during their spring-fall season. They setup the waypoints, print maps and show you how it's done if you're new to the activity. This EOC event is to simply attend their regularly scheduled Wednesday night event. This is to raise awareness for orienteering in the EOC and to gauge interest for setting up future EOC-specific orienteering events.

We can split up into 2-3 teams and compete, or simply try the different routes they will have that night. The cost for a map is $7.
