The Hills and Drills series of conditioning hikes are designed to put you through your paces as a prerequisite for weekends exploring various hiking trails around the Mountain Parks (this includes Susan's Backpack Conditioning hikes on our calendar). Everyone is welcome even if you are not interested in backpacking, although these hikes will be at a brisk pace with some steeper hills and rough trails.
This week we are hiking the forested trails through Gold Bar and Goldstick Park. We might also travel along the single track trails all the way to Strathcona Science Park depending on the weather and trail conditions. Click HERE for more info on Edmonton's River Valley System and Parks.

Please click HERE for more info and tips on beginner backpacking and hiking.
