Hosted by Mountain Equipment Co-op in partnership with the City of Edmonton River Day Events, Paddlefest is an urban celebration of canoeing and kayaking. The day will feature learning opportunities on and off the water. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome. For more information, please see MEC's Paddlefest page. We will meet at 11 AM. However, for those who are interested - a pancake breakfast will be held at the venue from 10-11:30 AM. I am planning to participate in the beginners workshops for Tandem Canoe Strokes (1 PM - 2 PM). Please let me know (by indicating in the notes section when you register) if you intend to participate in this workshop. You will need to pre-register for the workshop through Mountain Equipment Co-op, by calling them at 488-6614. There are a limited number of spots available for the workshops (less than 8 for this particular workshop), so make sure you register ASAP. I have no control over the organization of these workshops. | |||||
