Backpack Conditioning Hike (4/8/2017)

Itinerary:
It is time once again to start getting ready for summer backpacking. We will start with a moderate two hour hike.

We will meet at Bears Paw dogs off leash park and hike above the Blackmud creek towards the Ellerslie Garden Centre.

Once at the Garden Centre, we can go in for a coffee or treat and then return to BearsPaw park.

If you plan to bring your dog, please bring a leash as we will be traveling thorough a neighbourhood park where dogs are required on leash.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:If coming from Anthony Henday take 111 St. Exit and head north. Turn right at 19th Ave. (7-11 store is your landmark). Travel to the first 4-way stop and turn right on 109 st. and follow around until you come to the dogs off leash park at the end of the road.

If coming from the Whyte mud take the 111 St. Exit and go south. Turn left at 19th Ave (7-11 landmark). At the first 4-way stop turn right on 109 st. and follow the road to the dogs off leash park .
