Itinerary:
We will meet at the overflow parkade near West Edmonton Mall at 1215 and drive out to Devon Voyageur Park by 1230. If you are meeting the group in Devon please park near the river on your right hand side. The aim will be to meet in Devon at 1 pm. Hike departure will be 1:15 pm.

This is a fairly difficult hike due to frequent changes in elevation. Its a good idea to bring water and a light snack. We will hike for approx. 3 hours or until the group decides to turn back. Dogs are allowed on the trails but must be leashed at all times due to wildlife! There are beautiful views throughout!

I am organizing a carpool for this event. We will meet at the overflow parking lot near West Edmonton Mall. The map attached below shows directions from the overflow parking lot near West Edmonton Mall to Devon.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Travel along highway 60 towards Devon, pass the WELCOME TO DEVON sign and take your first left after the bridge onto ATHABASCA DRIVE, then left onto SUPERIOR ST., then left onto SASKATCHEWAN AVE. Follow saskatchewan ave to the second parking lot on your right closest to the river.

Carpool Cost: The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $13.11 (calculated at total Km * $0.23, effective Monday, August 21, 2017). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.
