A Good Bush Hike (7/10/2016)

Itinerary:
We meet at the Capilano Park parking Rest Area (picnic tables) (look for a blue Toyota Matrix) & hike east along the river till we reach Strathcona Science Park & then we come back. The trail has some steep hills & is 100% on soil. We will take more difficult trails on purpose for better quality exercise. At a minimum you will be wearing sneakers. Lighter shoes like sandals will mean that you do not hike with us. It's about safety.

Required Items to Bring:
A liter of drinking water (put in a pack or a fanny belt etc...) Please do not carry it in your hands. A leash if you bring a dog.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
A cap to keep sun out of your eyes, sun screen, insect repellent, hiking shoes/boots. Sunglasses.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Capilano Park in on the south side of the river. Find yourself at the intersection 50st/106 ave & go north downhill & you will find Capilano Park on your left. Park close to the pic nic area.

Notes:
This hike is intended to run at about 4 k per hour.
