Itinerary:

You MUST sign up and pay Dinner Revolution directly for this event by going to this link and following it all the way through: Dinner Revolution EOC. If you don't follow the successive web pages in the order that they are presented, you will not be put into the right time slot for the event. If you inadvertently surf away (which happens if you have not been to Dinner Revolution before and have to create a new login for yourself), go back to the original link above and start again with your new login. Don't worry that it doesn't say anything about the day and time right away. These come up at the end once you've paid.
Once you are done, forward me your confirmation of payment by email (pres@edmontonoutdoorclub.com) and I will add you to the list. You may come to the event only if you have prepaid and I have added you to the list.

Busy professional/mom/dad/student that you are, where do you find time to cook, much less make healthy, great tasting meals? The answer is Dinner Revolution!

This service is for those that love to cook, but hate the prep work and for those who hate to grocery shop. The recipes are created with help from top tier professional chefs. Each is crafted with the portion sizes and content of the Canada Food Guide in mind. This is ideal for people who would like help with meal ideas, don't want to shop and chop, and enjoy great food but don't want to eat out at exhorbitant costs all the time.

Here's how it works: each person must choose at least 6 items in advance (paid in advance directly to Dinner Revolution). On the day of the event, show up, and all the ingredients will be waiting for you in their professional kitchen stations. We'll rotate through the various stations, depending on which items you chose, assembling each. Then you take your items home in a cooler, and cook them at your leisure. Full cooking instructions are provided, and all the items are designed with freeze storage in mind. Please bring a cooler or laundry basket to take your creations home.

Check out this story in VUE Weekly!

Each participant must choose at least 6 items. This can be any mix of half size orders, full size orders, or "extras". Each item serves multiple people (2-3 for half orders, 4-6 for full orders). Note that "extras" (side dishes and desserts) are already prepared, so it's no fun if you choose only extras. Also note that while it may seem expensive to pay $80 for 6 half order items, remember that each half item serves 2-3 people, so it works out to $5-$6 per meal.

Once you have decided on what you would like to make, please go to the link above to input your choices and payment information. Detailed descriptions of each item with picture, cooking instructions, and nutritional information are available on the website.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact me directly. Note that the physical space in the group kitchen is limited, so we can't bring a non-paying friend to help us cook. Maximum number of participants is 12.
