Itinerary:

We will meet in Wolf Willow Ridge at the designated Footbridge parking lane located on Wanyandi Way. Betty will be wearing a black baseball cap and will be accompanied by a mini tan husky. Ryan will be wearing a yellow cap with the EOC logo on it.

The designated parking for the footbridge and the actual trail head are not near each other so this trail has that hidden gem feel.

The hike will be moderate in intensity and will include paved and unpaved areas. Length of hike will be approx. 7km and should take us 1.5-2 hours to complete. Half the hike will include a single track unpaved trail through the ravine with frequent changes in elevation. Proper hiking footwear is encouraged.

We will make a quick detour to the Edmonton Footbridge, then head back along the trail on the west side of the river towards a 200 step staircase. From there we can decide if we would prefer to climb up the staircase or down it. Please be prepared to climb the staircase. Our loop will begin from this point.

Please note that part of the hike is off leash designated. Dogs are permitted on the hike however they must be leashed when necessary.
