Mill Creek Ravine Hike (South) and Shamrock Club Social (2/11/2015)

Itinerary:
From the top of the Mill Creek Ravine we will hike on the paved trails, with some gravel trail portions. Part way through the hike (about half way down the ravine) we will go for snacks and refreshments at The Shamrock Curling Club Lounge located directly off our planned route in Mill Creek (stop for about 45 Min). The lounge is upstairs separate from the arena (they accept Interac, cash, or credit card). They have a concession if you want food (they accept cash only. There is a bank machine there).
We will then hike back to our cars at the start of the hike.
**Please be aware with wintery weather, the trail could be slippery in some sections. Especially after the Pub/Lounge :)
You could encounter muddy, rainy/snowy conditions, etc – dress accordingly.

Required Items to Bring:
- Hiking boots with cleats for ice and snow traction
- Water
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
- Headlamp or flashlight

- Money for snacks & refreshments at pub/lounge

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet at Argyll Community League Hall parking lot 6750 - 88 Street (go into community hall access road to find huge parking lot at the end of service road past the hall), next to the Argyll Velodrome and BMX track.
Look for Mark wearing a Yellow EOC hat.
