Itinerary:

We will meet at 12:15 PM to check in, and leave at 12:30 PM sharp. From the first parking lot (before the Whitemud Drive bridge) we will proceed south for about 3 to 4 km depending on the conditions and the group's preference, and then return. This will be a shorter hike due to the expected cold weather around -20C. We will be somewhat protected from the wind in the valley. **Please be aware the trail could be slippery in some sections.

Look for Dennis near his blue Hyundai.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Take the Whitemud Drive and turn South onto 119 St. Then turn west (first right off 119 St when you're going South).
Rainbow Valley Road has a sign labeled Whitemud Park, take this road to the first parking lot before you go under the bridge (This is the start of the event). If you find yourself at Snow Valley Ski Hill you have gone too far on Rainbow Valley Road.
