Itinerary:
Jacques Lake is a moderate backing trip in terms of elevation (90M) gain and loss (45 M). The distance is 12.2 Km. "The trail to the lake is unusual in that it travels through a narrow mountain valley, past 4 lakes and over a watershed divide."

We will camp on Friday night July 11 at Whistlers Camp Ground in Jasper. On Saturday we will get up early to take down camp and have breakfast and head to the trail head near Medicine Lake along the Malign Lake Road. The trek will take approximately 4 hrs--5 hrs (depending on our pace). Once we get to our camp ground we will set up camp and enjoy our lunch. After our break we will spend the afternoon exploring the area. Sunday morning we can sleep in, have breakfast and do some more exploring. We will head back to Jasper after lunch.

Approximate time back in Jasper would be between 4-5 p.m. We will then head back to Edmonton.
