Festival of Light website

The inaugural Edmonton Valley Zoo Festival of Light is an outdoor exhibit of artistic light installations within the Edmonton Valley Zoo. The festival is running nightly from Dec. 6-15, from 5-10 PM. In addition to light installations, there will be ice skating, DJs, fire dancers, opportunities to commiserate with the animals at the zoo, hot chocolate (free!) and pizza. (If you wish to try out the ice skating, you'll have to bring your own skates.)

Let's head along and find out what it is all about!
We will meet by the entrance of the zoo at 5 PM, and then head inside by 5:15. This event costs $5, which will be paid to the Edmonton Valley Zoo Development Society as we enter the event.
I will be wearing or carrying a yellow EOC baseball cap so you can recognise me.
I am not going to put a time scale on this exploration, as the Festival is a bit of an unknown quantity being in its inaugural year.
Afterwards, we can go for drinks/snacks somewhere nearby (to be agreed at the event).

Parking: there is a large parking lot outside of the zoo. Parking is free.
Note this is an outdoor event, so expect it to be chilly!
