Itinerary:

Chickakoo trail map

The meeting place / start point at Chickakoo is the larger of the parking lots.
Please open the link to the trail map, and you will see the words "The Point" shown on the plan on the east side of Chickakoo Lake itself.
The parking lot is located immediately to the east of "The Point".

The terrain is mainly gently rolling hills, but there are one or two steeper ones too. There are picnic tables and outhouses along the trails.

For the carpool, meet at the overflow parking lot north of the West Edmonton Mall (accessed via 90 Avenue) at 09:00 AM, for a 09:15 departure.
To recognise me, I will be wearing a yellow EOC cap and standing by a grey Hyundai wagon. Please make sure you know how to get to the overflow parking lot, and note that it is on the opposite side of the WEM from the transit centre!

We will begin the hike itself around 10:00 AM if you wish to meet us at the Chickakoo parking lot and not participate in the carpool.

Please note that although dogs are permitted on this event, Parkland County bylaws require dogs to be kept on a leash at all times.
