Itinerary:
Relay For Life is an inspirational, non-competitive, 12- hour overnight fundraising event that brings you and your community together to celebrate life and fight cancer. Relay has a festival-like atmosphere that your family, friends and co- workers can enjoy regardless of age or fitness level!

Teams of 10-15 people fundraise individually and as a team to help the Canadian Cancer Society save lives and support those who are facing cancer. Relay participants make a commitment to raise at least $100 and are supported with the tools to reach their goals.

At Relay, teams gather with cancer survivors at their local track, stadium or sports field and take turns walking laps all night. Each team keeps at least one member on the track at all times, while all around them the party is in full swing. Teams stay overnight in the decorated tent city, united to enjoy music, food, activities and entertainment and to celebrate life.

Join me as part of fellow EOC member, Janine Pushor's team: Nancy's Ninjas: Cancer Crushers. You'll need to enter the password "Ninja" (case-sensitive and don't need the quotation marks) when you go to the registration link HERE. You may need to search by team name (Nancy's Ninjas) and then enter the password.

The cost for this event is $15 and you pay when you complete the online registration at the Relay for Life website.

Please keep in mind this is a family event so there is no alcohol permitted.

We'll likely meet at the Westmount Transit Centre and I'll wear my yellow EOC ball cap so you can identify me. You can also check out my picture in the Volunteer section. Exact meeting location will be finalized prior to the event and shared via the event reminder email.
