Please note I have changed the time of our participation at this event as a result of a Bear Awareness Seminar that will be offered at noon.

Join me at Campers' Village's Escape Outside event.

The great outdoors are calling, inviting you to enjoy unscheduled time with your family – because you can’t buy more time. No technology and no interruptions; just you, your family, the birds, the bees and the stars. Get a taste of primitive back-country camping, family camping, and RV’ing. Learn everything from how to select the right campsite, what to pack, how to pack and how to set up your campsite to campsite cooking, wildlife awareness and safety, leave no trace, and so much more. From hands on demonstrations, to team challenges, to food sampling, you won’t leave empty handed or hungry. Make new memories in nature’s backyard this summer.

Attendees will have a chance to enter to win fantastic products from Mountain Hardwear, Exped, Osprey, Camp Chef, Keener Weiner, Light My Fire, Woods, Outbound and more.

We'll meet at the west-end location of Campers' Village at 11:00 AM. To help you identify me, I'll be wearing the yellow EOC ball cap and you can check out my photo on the volunteer page.
