Itinerary:

Stand Up Paddling (or SUP for short) is taking the world by storm! It is the fastest growing water sport – and can be done anywhere there is easy access to safe waters. SUP is a great core workout, is easy to learn, and is a great way to get out on the water this summer!

The Easy Rider is hosting an introductory Stand Up Paddleboard demo in the Water Park at West Edmonton Mall. The demo includes boards and paddles for everyone to try, and runs from 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. We'll meet at 6:30 p.m. in front of the glass at the Water Park, which gives us a few minutes for introductions and to get to know each other before we head into the pool area. Please make sure you arrive on time, and look for the three of us either wearing or carrying the bright yellow EOC ballcap!

For more information about The Easy Rider store, vist their website at www.theeasyrider.com.

The cost of this event is $10 per person, payable to The Easy Rider staff at the event. All money collected will be donated to the Edmonton Food Bank.

Participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim.

No previous experience on a Stand Up Paddleboard is necessary.
