This is an immediate follow-up to Ease Into Cycling - Route 1. The Route consists of two sections, if anyone feels like stopping after the first section, that's completely okay.
The first section will take about 30-40 minutes at no more than 20km/hr, and the second section will take 20-40 minutes at about 15km/hour.

First Section (11km): Ride east along River Valley Road, past Rossdale Plant and then follow the river paths to the Low Level Bridge. Cross the Low Level Bridge, then head south along the river again up the nasty climb to Nellie McClung Park (there's no shame in getting off and pushing). Continue through Queen Elizabeth Park, and follow the path to the LRT foot bridge (there is a significant climb here) After crossing the LRT bridge, we head west to our meeting place.

If anyone has had enough at this point, you may leave.

Second Section (5km): Head west from the parking lot up McKinnon Ravine to Summit Drive, here we'll take a short break to catch our breath. And then back down McKinnon to the start.
