Dawson Park to Capilano Park Loop Urban Hike (1/8/2013)

Itinerary:

Please note that this will be a slower paced hike. If we have enough sign-ups to split into two groups, we'll do that. Otherwise expect to stay with the slower paced group.

We will meet at 6:45PM at the parking lot at Dawson Park and will leave at 7:00 sharp for the hike.

We will head east towards the Highland Golf Course then cross the bridge to Capilano Park and head back west towards Wayne Gretzky Drive, then pass the Riverside Golf Course to Dawson Bridge and back to Dawson Park.

To find me, I will be wearing (or holding) my yellow EOC baseball cap and driving the Nemo (clownfish) car.


Required Items to Bring:
Water
Clothing appropriate to the conditions. Layers. NO COTTON.
Sturdy footwear
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Traction devices, for example, StabilIcers or MicroSpikes. YakTrax may be sufficient if there are only small areas of ice.
