Itinerary:
Heavy Snowfall Warning they say? I say let's hope the snow stays long enough for us to have some fun in it this Monday! Let's get out for a little easy snowshoe fun. Beginners welcome... nay... ENCOURAGED to come out and try it. It's a great opportunity to just check out the sport before you tackle something harder, or out-of-town.

This is an off-leash park, so feel free to bring your dog if he/she is good with other dogs.

Some people find it difficult to find their way to Terwillegar Park. Please make sure you allow yourself enough time to get here, and keep my phone number with you in case you get lost.

Required Items to Bring:
Water
Weather-appropriate clothing (toques, gloves, etc., and dress in synthetic layers)
Snowshoes and boots are required and hiking poles are strongly recommended
Participants must provide their own equipment - snowshoes can be rented at MEC or Totem
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Dog
Snack
Camera
Sunglasses

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The park is located at the very west end of Rabbit Hill road, off Terwillegar Drive. For those coming from Whitemud Drive, take the Terwillegar exit, and turn right at Rabbit Hill Road. The road will go down the hill into the Terwillegar Park parking lot, which is where we will meet. Look for the coordinator with the yellow EOC ball cap.
