Itinerary:
The Die Hard series of bike rides are meant to be fun, yet a bit challenging. Simply riding a bike in the winter is a bit of a challenge compared to summer riding. Getting out and riding even though it may be cold, snowy, windy, slippery or any combination gives a great sense of accomplishment, almost like going against the odds and coming out on top.

BE PREPARED! Make sure you have suitable tires on your bike, and NO COTTON clothing! Have appropriate layers to keep cool enough or warm enough depending on all the possibilities nature can throw at us.
Andrew is a die-hard cyclist (or trying to convince himself he is) so this ride will go unless the temperature is below -25 Celsius.

We will start at Glenora Park and work our way to and then zoom down the path along Groat Road through Government House Park. Then we'll follow the river valley to the low level bridge where we'll cross over to follow along to and through Mill Creek Ravine all the way to 39 Ave.
There we will follow along 39 Ave to 106 Street, then head north up to 60 Ave which we'll follow West to 113 Street where the route will take us North to 76 Ave for a Westward path to Saskatchewan drive where we will see some impressive properties as we head north to Groat Road and follow that to Saskatchewan drive again for some Eastern travel to the steep hill down to the LRT foot bridge where we'll cross over to River Valley Road and head West again to Government House Park and climb back up along Groat Road to our starting point.

At this point we can head somewhere nearby for a late lunch/early dinner and some cold drinks.
