Itinerary:
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Join us for an evening of TED. We will watch two videos from their web site and discuss the videos. The videos are approximately 20 minutes long. We'll start the first one at 7:00 and the second one at 8:00, leaving up to 40 minutes for discussion after each one.

Our videos for tonight will be:
  1. William McDonough: Cradle to cradle design: Green-minded architect and designer William McDonough asks what our buildings and products would look like if designers took into account "all children, all species, for all time."
  2. Kelli Anderson: Design to challenge reality: Kelli Anderson shatters our expectations about reality by injecting humor and surprise into everyday objects. At TEDxPhoenix she shares her disruptive and clever designs.
