***PLEASE NOTE*** PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR TICKET ONLINE THROUGH THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN WINE AND FOOD FESTIVAL’S WEBSITE.

The Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival is the largest, most exciting wine and food event in Alberta! With over 140 exhibitors showcasing wine, spirits, gourmet food and other delectables, the Festival is sure to delight all palates. An entrance ticket brings you inside the Grand Tasting Hall where you can customize your experience by sampling whatever your senses desire. Samples start at a minimum of $1.00 and increase for more expensive, premium, gourmet or exclusive products.

The Festival will feature an extensive wine selection. An extensive list of the beverages being served at this year’s Festival will be posted on the website in late September. See the website for more information.

The Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival brings together an array of Edmonton and area restaurants, food producers and hotels to cook up mouthwatering gourmet food samples. Taste buds will be indulged with samples ranging from ethnic food to artisan cheese to delicious desserts.

In order to sample beverages and food being served at the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival sampling coupons must be purchased and redeemed with the exhibitors. Sampling coupons are fifty cents each and there is a minimum charge of two sampling coupons per sample. Sample prices will usually range from 2-15 coupons, however there are some very expensive products that may require a higher amount of coupons to sample. The average sample for wine is approximately 4 coupons, and the average sample for food is approximately 7 coupons. Higher end items such as expensive wines, spirits and food samples with expensive ingredients, will require more sampling coupons to be redeemed.

By using sampling coupons you can customize how much you spend and what samples you try. The average person that attended the 2008 Festival spent $25 on coupons. The assortment of samples to choose from is endless!

Please meet inside the front doors of the Shaw Conference Centre (Jasper Avenue entrance). Look for me (Sandie) with the EOC yellow baseball cap and look at my profile pic so you can recognize me. We will meet at 5:45pm, and head into the event at 6:00pm.

Please drink responsibly and find a safe way home.
