Itinerary:
We meet in the parking lot at 9:00am & get our act together for a 9:15 walk-away time. Look for Michel with the yellow EOC hat. We will hike in the Whitemud Creek for 1 1/2 hours & then turn around & come back. I expect that it will take us 1 hour & 10 minutes to come back. You WILL be soaked at least from the knees down. You can wear long or short pants but since your pants will be wet & heavy you really should wear a belt. I think that you should wear long but thin pants that dont retain much water. You need to wear shoes that you do not care if they get wet & muddy. I think that a hat would be a good idea to keep the mosquitos out of your hair & the sweat & sun out of your eyes.

Required Items to Bring:
A spirit of adventure & a desire to work out.Sturdy shoes that cover the whole foot. That means at LEAST sneakers but boots would be better. If you come in something like sandals, you will not be coming with us.I would not consider sandals safe.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Drinking water. A complete change of clothes for after the hike. You will be wet. Money for beverages after the hike ($1.00)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The McTaggart Sanctuary is the section of the Whitemud Creek Ravine between 23rd Avenue and Ellerslie Road. Vehicle Access: Smith's Crossing parking lot (23 Ave. west of 119 St.),

Notes:
This is not a competition. We will go as slow as needed. Notice that we are travelling by time not distance. You will likely stretch some boundaries but will feel fantastic during and for sure afterwards.
