Photowalk... Put your skills from our Beginner & DSLR photography events to the test. Join me for a stroll across the foot bridge from Henrietta Louise Park to the Chinese Gardens and back capturing images of the local flora, fauna and river valley surroundings while enjoying the evening light.  I recently did a similar walk hosted by another photographer and even though we experienced a sprinkle of rain it was an extremely rewarding evening. There will be lots of time for discussion and questions during the walk so be prepared to move at a "slower pace than the usual EOC URBAN HIKES" to accommodate the photography.  For those unfamiliar with the term...... Photo walk: (Wikipedia) Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that the photographer may find interesting. While related to street photography, photowalking is differentiated by its impetus to photograph things of interest rather than people specifically. Photowalking can also promote physical fitness.

We will head out and cross the river over the foot bridge to the Chinese Garden taking a detour following the trails closer to the river to where the Edmonton Queen is berthed.

Meet at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

I will be wearing my yellow EOC baseball cap.
